I recently had a suit tailored here. From start to finish Max listened to what I wanted and made it happen. He had his input and really delivered on what we agreed.

We recently visited Jacob Brian Huddersfield Taylor’s and had the pleasure of dealing with Max. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely perfect. We only needed waistcoats for the groomsmen, along with tailor-made waistcoats and shirts for myself and my best man, so I’m sure we weren’t their biggest clients. But from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like the most important guests in the room. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years, I can honestly say Max’s service was impeccable. I’ve always believed that guests often know what they don’t want, but not always what they do want. Max guided us through every detail with ease, patience, and expertise — right down to the finest touches. The end result was beyond what we expected. If I had one criticism, it’s that Jacob Brian has now set such a high standard that all future shopping experiences will likely feel overshadowed in comparison! We’ll definitely be back again without hesitation, though it would be even better if they had a base closer to us in Nottinghamshire. Thank you again,

I was instructed by a superior being (my partner of some 35 years) that my current of the peg wedding, function, funeral 2 piece suit would not cut it for our nuptials & that I urgently needed to address my lack of sartorial elegance hence detailed web research, phone calls etc resulting in the decision to contact Jacob Brian's for advice. I spoke to Jenny & arranged a consultation for a bespoke 3 piece suit (she shoehorned my appointment in to her diary as I had left a very tight time margin) so I duly attended a few days later for my 2 hour consultation. At their remarkable Huddersfield base / showroom just outside the town in a historic building in a beautiful location nestled between the river Colne & the Huddersfield Narrow Canal (easy to get to & no hassle on site parking). What a revelation, Jenny guided me through the vast array of available fabrics, styles & options & as a result I decided to add a tailored shirt to my wish list, then came the measurements (I discovered that I had a dropped shoulder which I wasn't aware of & was offered options to mitigate this) the process was detailed & extensive & Jenny was extremely diligent & patient. The result? A absolutely superb suit & shirt at a very competitive price that fits like a second skin (first pair of trousers that I have ever had that do not require a belt or braces or both) that has gained my future wife's unreserved seal of approval (not easy) & that makes me feel turned out to a very high level. The added bonus is that the entire ensemble, fabric, design & manufacturing was all sourced & carried out locally, the processes of which are historic to the Colne Valley (where I am very fortunate to live) & therefore supporting local trades, skills & retailers. In conclusion, I simply can't recommend this retailer highly enough. Sincere thanks Jenny, I will be back.

I took a leap of faith booking in with Jenny to get my first ever tailored shirt. I have a physical disability which makes all clothes fit oddly for me, so I had little hope. Jenny gave me a wonderful experience during my appointment that filled me with confidence and I trusted her entirely by the end of it. And she worked a miracle. Not only was my shirt incredible quality. But I finally had something that fit me perfectly! I have never felt more myself than I do in this shirt. Jenny is incredible and I’m immediately booking in with her again. Every penny is absolutely worth it. You will not regret it.
